Since P90X3 will be available for order in just a few days (!!!!!!!) I thought I would write up a quick post about some FAQs that people have about the program. And just in case you haven’t seen the “teaser” video yet, I posted it at the bottom of the page!
OK, so here goes…
When can I order it?
According to the folks at Beachbody, “P90X3 will be available to order by end of day 12/10.” Typically what they do with a new product launch is make the program available to only a certain number of people at a time to avoid overloading the system, so that gradually over the course of the day everyone from the west coast to the east coast will be able to place their order. So, if you log into your TeamBeachbody.com account at 8am on 12/10 and you’re not able to purchase P90X3 yet, keep checking back every once in a while and it should show up eventually!
How much does it cost?
The standard retail price for the P90X3 Base Kit is $119.85 + shipping. As always, if you’re a coach or TBB discount member you get 25% off that price.
The BASE Kit includes:
* 16 workouts on 8 DVDs
* 5 Free Gifts if you order through your TBB.com account, including a P90X One on One DVD (On One Leg) and a P90X3 hat.
* Fitness and Nutrition Guides
There are also DELUXE and ULTIMATE Kits available which include additional goodies such as the ELITE workouts (more on that in a second), Energy and Endurance formula, resistance bands, Results and Recovery formula, pull-up bar, pull-up assistance band, and jump mat. Retail price for the DELUXE kit is $239.70 + shipping and ULTIMATE kit is $329.55 + shipping.
P90X3 Challenge Pack

What are the ELITE workouts?
P90X3 is a 90 day program, split into 3 Blocks. Blocks 1 & 2 each consist of 4 weeks, while Block 3 lasts 5 weeks. Additionally, the ELITE Block calendar, which is an optional block to be completed AFTER the initial 90 days, lasts 4 weeks. The Elite Block includes 3 workouts not included within the P90X3 Base Kit. These workouts and calendar can be found within the P90X3 Deluxe and Ultimate Kits. In addition, they can also be purchased separately.
Do I need to be a P90X or P90X2 graduate to do P90X3?
Nope! There will be modifications available and you can do P90X3 even if you’ve never done P90X or P90X2. Unlike P90X2, X3 is NOT a graduate program.
What equipment do I need for P90X3?
You will need the standard P90X equipment of hand weights (resistance bands), pull-up bar, and some type of cushion or floor mat.
How long are the workouts?
30 minutes!!!
Is the P90X3 meal plan vegetarian or vegan friendly?
Yes, there will be vegetarian and vegan options included in the P90X3 Nutrition Guide that comes with the program.
When should I order P90X3 to guarantee I get it by Christmas?
Be sure to place your order by 12/15 11:59 PM to guarantee delivery by 12/25.

I’ve got a couple of questions: If I just get the regular version will I miss out a lot on not getting the bonus 3 work outs? Also, I noticed there’s no separate ab workout like there was in p90x. Are abs incorporated into the work out vids? I loved p90x.. I did my first round and I’m considering doing p90x3 instead of a second round of 90x. Thanks!?
Hey Carlos! There is quite a bit of core work in the base kit, but I believe if you’re looking for a specific “Ab Ripper” type workout that DVD is only available as part of the Elite package. You could probably still use ARX from P90X if you feel like you still need it, but after doing a Round of P90X3 you might change your mind! You can also go with the BASE package for now and then purchase the 3 bonus “elite” workouts later on. No matter what you decide though, I don’t think you can go wrong!
Awesome, if core is mixed into the workouts, that would be perfect. I love ARX, but wow, it was really hard to do on the scheduled days after a full workout! So I missed out a lot on it and I think as a result I didn’t strengthen my core as much as I wanted to. Thanks!
Yeah, I think they realized that it was difficult for people to squeeze that extra workout in, so they just incorporated the ab/core work into the regular schedule. 🙂
Hey,
I’m considering getting one of the p90x workouts (1, 2 or 3), but I live on the 5th floor of a NYC apartment…do these workouts require a lot of jumping or other movements that would be an issue for those below me?
Any of the P90X programs are not going to have nearly as much jumping and burpees compared to something like Insanity. Each program typically comes with one workout DVD that has more jumping than the others (like Plyo X in P90X) for example…but I don’t think it would be an issue other than that.

Hi Jilian, shipping costs vary depending on your location. If you like you can just add items to the shopping cart and it will add your shipping. There is also an itemized list of products/prices in the TeamBeachbody.com SHOP under the P90X3 tab. I hope that helps!
Will I still see results after im done with the Elite Block from p90x3 if I have never done any of the p90x, p90x2 or p90x3 workouts ???
The only way you wouldn’t see results from doing P90X3 is if your nutrition is totally out of whack. It’s a stand alone program, not a graduate program so you can do it even though you’ve not done P90X or X2.
