I’m so excited you’re here and ready to learn more about your business!
I can’t BELIEVE how much fun I have as a Beachbody Coach and I want it to be FUN and FULFILLING for you as well.
Whether you signed up as a coach just to get a discount or want to turn this into some REAL money there are a few BASIC things you need to know so please read this carefully.
During the next few days/weeks/months/years you’ll be receiving and absorbing A LOT of information. Please, don’t try to learn EVERYTHING before you even start…you’ll drive yourself crazy!!
In this business you’ll learn best by DOING so please don’t be afraid to just jump right in!
You will also be getting an email from Beachbody along with your Business Starter Kit in the mail with some information on getting started. Feel free to take a peek, but like I said…I don’t want you to feel overwhelmed.
Just focus on this new coach checklist for now and TAKE YOUR TIME.

You are working on building the foundation of a business that is going to last you a LIFETIME.
Take a deep breath! Like Tony Horton says, “Rome wasn’t built in a day…neither was your body.”
Your journey as a Beachbody coach is much like your health and fitness journey…slow and steady wins the race!
As a brand new coach here are some of the most important things you need to know:
1. The Coach Online Office
The Coach Online Office aka “back office” is the hub of your Beachbody business! To access the back office log into your Team Beachbody account, find the COACH tab and select COACH ONLINE OFFICE.
a. The first thing I would do is set up EFT (electronic funds transfer) which can be found under the MY BUSINESS tab. You do not want to wait for your checks to be mailed!
b. The second thing I would do is set your preferred placement. This is where you choose how to place your coaches when they join your team. You will learn more about this as you go through your training, but for now you want to set your preferred placement to either LEFT or RIGHT.
In your online office go to MY BUSINESS > MY PREFERRED PLACEMENT and make sure SET PREFERRED PLACEMENT is selected. You also want to make sure that POSITION is set to either LEFT or RIGHT. And then reverse that whenever you sign-up your second active coach to become Emerald (ask your sponsor coach if you’re unsure about this).
First Available should NEVER-EVER-EVER be selected!
You can spend some time in the COO just clicking around and seeing where things are but again…I don’t recommend spending TOO much time doing this otherwise you WILL become overwhelmed. Besides that, corporate will be making some major changes to it later this year so you will just have to re-learn everything again later! 😉
2. Sign-Up Fee Reimbursement
If you bought a challenge pack when you registered as a coach, you can skip this step because you were not charged the $40 sign up fee.
If you did not buy a challenge pack when you registered but you HAVE purchased a challenge pack in the past, you can request reimbursement for the $40 sign-up fee.
To make this request simply go to this form and fill it out within 30 days of your sign-up date!
3. What is your coach ID#?
Your coach ID# is a very important number. You should have received your coach ID# in your welcome email from Beachbody. Your coach ID# is also located on the HOME page of the back office in the upper left corner below your name and above your current rank.
4. Placing a Customer Order
So you told your BFF you started a new business and immediately she wanted to buy something from you…don’t panic! 😉
There are several different methods for creating a link to any product that Beachbody offers on the TeamBeachbody.com website.
You can send them to your Beachbody website and hope for the best but I highly recommend sending them a direct link to whatever it is that they want to buy.
You can use this website to generate the link you need after you type in your coach ID#.
TIP: create a notepad document on your phone and computer where you can easily copy/paste the links you use most often for easy reference when you need them.
You’ll also want to make sure that your friends and family don’t already have an account with Beachbody before trying to place an order with you.
You can simply ask them, “Have you ever ordered anything from Beachbody before?” If they’ve ordered something from BB before (through the Beachbody.com website, infomercial, etc.) they will need to fill out a coach transfer form (link below) or you can fill it out if they give you permission. You will need the email address associated with their Beachbody account and billing zip code. If they fill out the form you’ll need to give them your coach ID# and email address.
5. New Coach Sign-up Link
You should also know where to send your mom, BFF, sister, etc. if they’re ready to sign-up as a coach with you!
Simply give them this link and be sure to replace the XXXXXX with your coach ID# –>
Or, if they are already have an account on the TeamBeachbody.com website and you’re already their official coach they can simply go to COACH >> BE A COACH.
6. Coach Mobile Website
The coach mobile website at http://coachmobile.teambeachbody.com/ is a great tool for enrolling new customers and coaches into your business without worrying about sending people links.

7. Do you need some help?
YOUR #1 resource if you ever have any questions is ALWAYS going to be the FAQS at http://beachbodysupport.com so be sure to check there first!! (there is a COACH FAQ tab on the top of the screen)
You’ll also want to save these important numbers and emails:
Coach Relations: coach specific customer service. In other words, where YOU go if you need help!
Online Chat: http://tbbcoa.ch/ChatWithCR
Customer service: where you send your customers who have questions about an order.
Customer chat support: https://faq.beachbody.com/app/chat/chat_launch/lob/team
Email form: https://faq.beachbody.com/app/ask/lob/team
Remember, BB headquarters is located in California so they are on Pacific Time. Their operating hours are 6AM-6PM PST (9AM-9PM EST).
Like I said, 9 times outta 10 your question will be answered in the Coach FAQs. I definitely don’t expect you to learn everything in one day, but it will help your business a great deal if you know where to look when you have questions. 😀
8. Are you ACTIVE?!?
Let’s make sure you are taking advantage of your 25% discount and being proof the products work! The easiest way to do this is by being on Shakeology home direct. Not only is it Beachbody’s number one continuity product, it WILL improve your health and it will improve your business.
Need to modify your Shakeology order, change flavor, delay shipment etc.? No problem! All you need to do is fill out the form here:
Of course there is a lot more to Beachbody than Shakeology so it’s a good idea to become familiar with their full catalog of products over time so you can make the best recommendations when people have questions. I know from personal experience that it’s easier to tell someone the pros (and sometimes the cons…let’s be honest!) of a product when I’ve used it myself.
To order products simply log into TeamBeachbody.com and click the SHOP tab (don’t click any of the drop-down menus) and you’ll see all the different products with your discounted price under the regular price along with their volume. You need at least 50PV to be considered ACTIVE.
However, if you are on Shakeology HD that will automatically keep you active every month!
9. Get plugged into our weekly training calls.
Our weekly training calls will give you the motivation and information you need to stay productive and connected to what’s going on!
Put these numbers and reminders in your phone contacts so you don’t have to search all over for the information when you need it.

It’s our quarterly get-together, where coaches from across the USA come together at hundreds of events to prepare for the next quarter, recognize success, share tips, and MAKE THINGS HAPPEN! Depending on the location each Super Saturday event is going to be a little different. Some are small and intimate, while others are very large and play host to celebrity trainers and/or Beachbody corporate staff and even CEO Carl Daikeler! Either way, you are sure to walk away with a bunch of new friends and some great takeaways for building your business!

12. Let’s treat your Business Like a BUSINESS shall we??
To build a long-term, stable business you need to take it seriously.
Here are tips on what you can do to stay focused and show a commitment to your new business.
1. Schedule specific hours to work your business every day.
2. Save business expense receipts and purchase a file folder and notebook to save and track your expenses. You’ll want to keep track of everything so you will be prepared to work with your tax professional during tax season. This includes business supplies, travel expenses, phone expenses, etc.
3. Open a bank account specifically for your business. This will help you track your earnings and expenses. Also get a Visa/MC check card and pay all business expenses with it.
4. Have a dedicated office space in your home. This will help you focus on business activities and not get distracted.
