Here’s one my favorite sandwich recipes. It’s super-quick and easy, and only has about 250 calories. I usually like to eat it with a side of fruit (grapes, melon) or low-fat cottage cheese.
Here’s what you need:
toasted whole wheat English muffin
toasted Gardenburger pattie (my favorite variety is the Sun Dried Tomato Basil)
alfalfa sprouts
salsa
Need directions? Toast the english muffin, and then toast the Gardenburger until light-golden brown (yes, it’s OK to put the Gardenburger in the toaster! They toast quite nicely and it’s easier than using the oven and tastier than using the microwave). Top with alfalfa sprouts and a spoonful of your favorite salsa. That’s it! YUM! 🙂
