More P90X2 Details

August 29, 2011 By Amanda

UPDATE: P90X2 IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER. CLICK HERE TO SECURE YOUR ORDER TODAY.

Oh my, this is gonna be HUGE! During this past week the details have been coming out about P90X2 in anticipation of its September 1st pre-order date. Yes, SEPTEMBER 1 — which is just a few days from now!

Here’s a quick summary of what’s going on:

1. If you want delivery of P90X2 before Christmas 2011 you MUST pre-order!! Those with first dibs on pre-orders are Beachbody coaches and/or their customers. So, if you don’t already have an account on TeamBeachbody.com you need to create one TODAY! You can use my link below to create a free account and I’ll be automatically assigned as your coach!! 🙂 https://teambeachbody.com/signup/-/signup/free?referringRepId=44769

If you already have an account on TBB.com then you’re good to go!

2. You will be able to pre-order P90X2 from TBB.com starting on September 1st (I’m not sure if that’s going to be 12AM EST or what). My advice is to start checking the home page of TeamBeachbody.com starting at 12AM EST on Thursday (that’s what I’ll be doing anyway!). Beginning September 6th they will start taking pre-orders on Beachbody.com (assuming there is still inventory available). If you miss out on the pre-ordering window it looks like you can expect delivery after New Years Day 2012.  Here’s confirmation on that:

3. If you pre-order through me or another coach you’ll receive FREE SHIPPING as well as TWO bonus workouts not available if you wait and pre-order through Beachbody.com. You will also be entered in a drawing where Tony Horton may deliver your copy of P90X2 in person!!

Here’s some additional information you may be interested to know:

You can order P90X2 in either standard DVD or BLU-RAY! The thought of seeing Tony Horton in HD is a little scary but HEY! why not? 🙂 The Blu-Ray version does cost more (see details below).

You can get a base kit, a deluxe kit, or an ultimate kit. The deluxe and ultimate kit comes with additional workouts and equipment. However, Tony Horton has stated that the minimum equipment needed to do P90X2 are, “the human body, gravity, a floor, a chair, and a set of resistance bands.” So just like P90X there will be ways to modify everything even if you don’t have a lot of the equipment.

BASE KIT = $119.85 for standard DVD, $149.85 for Blu-Ray. With the Base Kit, you get 12 workouts, the workout guide, the nutrition guide, and a workout calendar. The base kit is an amazing deal since it’s no more expensive than P90X or Insanity. If you want the HD Blu-Ray, it’s $30 extra.

DELUXE KIT = $239.85 for standard DVD, $299.85 for Blu-Ray. With the deluxe Kit, you get everything in the base kit PLUS you get 2 bonus X2 workouts, two medicine balls (8 pounds), a smooth foam roller, and the new Beachbody stability ball (which has some weight and structure to it).

ULTIMATE KIT = $299.85 for standard DVD, $359.85 for Blu-Ray. With the ultimate Kit, you get everything in the deluxe kit PLUS you get a better, more aggressive foam roller and Tony Horton’s signature Powerstands for doing push-ups (my husband and I really love these).

The two additional P90X2 workouts included in the DELUXE and ULTIMATE KITS are V-Sculpt X2 and Chest/Shoulders/Tris X2. These two workouts are NOT included with the base kit. However, if you already have a lot of equipment already and/or aren’t interested in purchasing the DELUXE or ULTIMATE KITS those two extra workouts will be available for purchase as a seperate item so you can add them to your base kit. Just not sure how soon that will be available.

Also, in case you have some of Tony Horton’s One-on-One DVDs, the X2 version of V-Sculpt is nothing like the One-on-One version by the same name. I heard from another coach that it’s got totally different moves, and is a huge step up from the One-on-One version and is super-tough!

As I mentioned before, shipping and handling will be FREE for all pre-orders. And everyone who pre-orders through their BB coach will receive two bonus workout DVD’s from the Tony Horton One-on-One series (4 Legs and Upper Body Balance). Those who pre-order will be eligible for several prizes, including a personal trip from Tony Horton to deliver your copy of P90X2 to your house!

P90X2 will ship before Christmas on all pre-orders, on a first come/first serve manner. The exact date for shipping is not set yet, but your credit card that you use to pre-order will NOT be charged until the order ships.

P90X2 features a completely new nutrition guide. It takes the original concepts to new levels, and also includes alternative options to optimize the nutrition for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free diets. There are basically 27 nutrition plans that you can follow!

And don’t worry, the equipment needed can be modified. You can do the entire program with just bands and furniture if needed (like the original P90X), but you’ll also be able to really get the most out of the workouts with some additional items (medicine balls, a stability ball, a foam roller, powerstands, dumbbells, and a pullup bar).

Here’s the list of workouts included in the program:

Oh, and one more thing. There is a limit of 3 for pre-ordering (in case you are interested in stocking up for Christmas presents!).
