One question I hear a lot is, “Is Shakeology worth the money?” I think the question stems from the fact that people aren’t quite accustomed to plopping down 100 bucks for some mysterious formula they’ve never heard of when they can go to Walmart or GNC and pick up a tub of their favorite protein powder for 15 bucks. Fair enough.
The thing is, people value different things and what’s “worth it” to them may not be worth it to someone else. I would never think of spending $5 (or however much it is these days) on a pack of cigarettes or a fancy-pancy Starbucks drink or latte. But other people don’t think twice about it. The same goes for me and Shakeology. The way I look at it, each serving of Shakeology for me as a coach costs around $3. For me, it’s worth it because I know that tub of protein powder I can get at Walmart does not deliver the same level of nutrition that I can get from one serving of Shakeology. Some people might see the “value” in spending $4-5 dollars on a fast food meal, but look at a bag of Shakeology and say, “I can’t afford that!”
All I can say is that life is full of choices, and I’m not here to convince anyone that Shakeology is worth their money. All I know is that when you compare one serving of Shakeology to other things you can put into your body for the same price, it’s a pretty good deal. Have you looked at the nutritional data yet? Check out the facts here: Chocolate and Greenberry.
Maybe this will help:
So yeah, I can’t say for sure whether Shakeology is worth the money to you but it is definitely worth the money to me. The best way to answer that question is to try it yourself for 30 days. Beachbody will even refund your money if you decide within 30 days that the answer is a definitive NO. I’ll even send you a sample if you want to try it first.
Here’s a video from my team president, Christine Dwyer that might help put things into perspective. She kinda has a roundabout way of explaining it, but her point is the same: You gotta eat, so what is that meal going to consist of? What are going to spend that $4 on today? The choice is up to you!
