Beachbody Ultimate Reset Day 2

May 3, 2012 By Amanda

I survived my second day of the Beachbody Ultimate Reset! Sadly though, my husband did not! 🙁 This morning when he woke up he was dizzy and very nauseous. All during our 15 years together I’ve never seen him so sick! He also had a severe migraine which I assumed was from the lack of caffeine (he’s a big coffee drinker) but he said this was a lot different from other times he’s gone without caffeine…so who knows! Either way, we are taking the following disclaimer advice to heart:

NOTE: Consult with your physician before beginning the Beachbody Ultimate Reset program if you have digestive, blood sugar, or any other similar or unique medical conditions. If you experience nausea, dizziness, vomiting, or other severe reactions to this program, stop the Beachbody Ultimate Reset immediately and contact your physician. Do not resume until your medical professional has assured you it is safe to do so.

He will still follow the nutrition plan but has stopped taking the supplements until he talks to his doctor.

As for me…no worries! Today I felt less flustered and more on top of my schedule. Still getting used to all the prep work associated with the meals. It definitely takes some planning to make sure you have everything ready for the next day.

Beachbody Ultimate Reset Day 2

Weigh-in: 112#

5:30 AM Supplement time (mineralize, oxygenize, optimize)

6:15 AM Breakfast: oatmeal with blueberries and plain organic yogurt with Stevia. I was really worried about the yogurt but it was quite good! I think my taste buds have changed quite a bit in the past year or so as I can’t imagine myself ever enjoying plain yogurt before. I think I get to have oatmeal one more time this week and that’s it. 🙁

11:20 AM Supplement time (mineralize, oxygenize, optimize)

12:00 PM Lunch: same salad as yesterday with addition of chicken (or in my case leftover salmon) and pine nuts. This is definitely something I could eat everyday! My co-workers already have a nickname for it: THE FOUR POUND SALAD

3:00 PM Supplement time (mineralize and alkalinize). About 15 minutes after this is when the headache started to get a little more noticeable but it didn’t last too long.

4:00 PM Snack: green apple with 12 almonds

6:30 PM Supplement time (mineralize, oxygenize, optimize). At this point I was starting to get really hungry!

7:00 PM Dinner: corn tortilla with brown rice, salsa, avocado, black beans and kale with pine nuts. My husband said and I quote, “This tastes better than Taco Bell.” I’m not sure if he was just being nice but it did taste pretty darn good!! Another dinner-winner!

Tomorrow is going to be an interesting day as it’s the first time I’ll be working a full shift at work (9am-6pm) plus I’m attending a social gathering after work which I assume will involve food. I’m expecting a bit of resistance from my peers so that should be fun! 🙂
