Let’s do this!
HOW IT WORKS:
1. Download and print a copy of the grid (if you don’t have access to a printer you can always use an app to fill in the grid with colors or stickers!).
2. Decide on a day you want to commit to 100 Days of Movement. These 100 days can be consecutive like a streak, or you can create your own schedule. Although the purpose of this challenge is to help you create consistent and sustainable habits I *DO NOT* want you to give up or stop if something happens and for some reason you miss a day. You are not allowed to “stop” until your grid is totally filled with colors!!
3. Decide on your personal definition of “movement.” If you are new to physical activity or “starting over again” I recommend keeping things as simple as possible. Maybe just walking to the mailbox is all you can commit to right now…that’s great! Again, the purpose of this challenge is to help you create momentum and stay consistent. You can increase the intensity of your movement over time. My personal definition of movement is walking 1 mile, running 1 mile, or 20 minutes of a home workout. If you’re having a hard time deciding what to do, 20 minutes of walking is a GREAT place to start!
4. When your movement is done for the day you can color in a square! I have suggestions on the bottom of the grid for what colors to use but feel free to go rogue and color it however you want! You and your journey are one-of-a-kind. So let your grid be a reflection of your awesome-ness!
5. Take a picture of yourself with your blank grid and post it in our Facebook group! Introduce yourself and let us know your definition of movement so we can cheer you on! If you love Instagram you can also use #100daysmovement on your stories and posts. 🙂
