Tubbe, if you purchased P90X from Beachbody they will send you a replacement. Otherwise I'm afraid you're outta luck!

Well that's the problem to the kids, Phil, work, doing homework making dinner etc.... I would like to start a program & possilby involve everyone. The good food is a problem too we start eating good then we get bored with the same veggies. I look for recipes for different veggies but nothing sounds good. I can't afford to buy any kind of equipment , that's why I'm borrowing your moms treadmill. What is this P90X workout? I want to start something but I get no support from Phil. He says go ahead, but doesn't back me up or encourge me, & most of all give me the time. Thanks anyway!! Sandy

Hi Sandy! Thanks for stopping by! :-) You just have to make the committment to DO IT and it WILL happen! That's the best advice I can give you although my guess is that you were looking for something more specific right? LOL

Are you interested in starting a workout program? For me, I really need to follow a structured routine otherwise I'm totally cluess! I think my mom has Slim in 6 which is good for starters. 10 Minute Trainer is good too. Also, good nutrition is SOOOO important because 80% of your body composition is determined by what you eat. You can workout until the cows come home but it won't make a bit of difference if your food choices are out of whack.

For some people changing their nutrition habits is a process that happens slowly over time. Trying to change too much too quickly can be overwhelming and you might be tempted to give it all up. Then, once your changes become healthy HABITS add more changes (like exercise).

For me, it took about a month of me learning to make better food choices (portion sizes was a big problem area for me) and then I felt like I was ready to get serious about working out.

I don’t have kids, so I am not always aware of all the struggles parents have. But What I've read about getting your family on board is to “sneak” veggies into meals – like sauces, meatloaf, etc. AND DON'T MAKE A BIG DEAL ABOUT IT. When cutting out the junk a major announcement doesn’t need to be made. Lead by example, make small changes over time and everyone will get used to it.

Chalene Johson has a great video that explains this more in detail:

Anyway, I hope that helps. If you have any more questions just let me know! :-)
